#5030 Block Filler Latex (Interior/Exterior)

COLOR(S): White (may be tinted).

PRODUCT TYPE: Acrylic Latex Emulsion.

DESCRIPTION: A heavy viscosity pigmented latex emulsion for use where there is a need to fill "voids and pinholes" on wall surfaces to ensure that the wall will withstand moisture and water leaks.

Intended Use: As a filler for all interior and exterior unpainted or previously-painted porous or pitted masonry surfaces such as cement, cinder block or lightweight aggregate block.

VISCOSITY: 105-115 k.u.

DRY TO TOUCH: 1 hour

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 44-48%

TACK FREE: 1 hour

VOLUME SOLIDS: 25-28%

TIME TO RECOAT: 18 hours

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 11.10 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: 8 hours

V.O.C.: 25 grams per liter

FLASH POINT: N/A

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 100-150 square feet per gallon depending on the porosity of the surface to be coated.

SURFACEPREPARATION: Surface must be dry, clean and free of all foreign agents and properly prepared. Use a stiff fiber or wire brush to remove any efflorescence. Poured or pre-cast surfaces should be sandblasted to remove form release agents.

APPLICATION: Apply by brush, roller or long nap roller. Apply at temperatures above 50° F.

THINNING: Thinning is not recommended.

CLEAN-UP: Clean all tools and equipment with normal tap water as soon as is possible. Due to this prdouct’s higher solids and viscosity it will dry on tools and equipment quickly. Warm, soapy water provides the best results.
