X-5768 Semi-Gloss "Pre-Catalyzed" Clear Lacquer

COLOR(S): Clear (may be tinted).

PRODUCT TYPE: Clear Modified Lacquer Finish.

DESCRIPTION: Farwest’s MATSON PRE-CATALYZED LACQUER is a clear semi-gloss finish coat formulated for use on kitchen cabinets, wood tables, chairs and hardwood floors. It provides high build, mar resistance, excellent washability and resistance to most household chemicals.As a finish on new or refinished furniture, this material will provide a quality film which is superior to most conventional lacquer systems.

Intended Use: For wood cabinets, furniture, wood tables and chairs, or hardwood floors.

VISCOSITY: 22-26", Zahn #2

DRY TO TOUCH: 5-10 minutes

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 21-23%

TACK FREE: 10 minutes

VOLUME SOLIDS: 13-15%

TIME TO RECOAT: 24 hours

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 7.60 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: 2 hours

V.O.C.: 700 grams per liter

COLOR RANGE: Clear (may be tinted)

FLASH POINT: 20° F.

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

BATCH: Stock

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 200-500 square feet per gallon depending on film thickness.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be free of all loose dirt, dust, grease, oily residue, or other surface contaminants. For best results, the wood surface to be finished should be sealed with a suitable sanding sealer such as Farwest X-5099 Lacquer Sanding Sealer.

APPLICATION: For best results, apply by conventional air gun with the pressure between 20-30 p.s.i., keeping the air to a minimum thus providing good, wet atomization.

THINNING: Thin if necessary with Farwest #610 Lacquer Thinner.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment should be thoroughly cleaned as soon as possible with Farwest #610 Lacquer Thinner or Farwest #615 Wash Thinner.
