X-6281 Wonderglo® Waterborne Wiping Stain

COLOR(S): Complete from Pastels to Deep Browns and Bold Colors.

PRODUCT TYPE: Modified Acrylic Dispersion.

DESCRIPTION: An easy-to-use waterborne wiping stain that acts as a sealer for subsequent finish coats. This high quality product shows very little tendency to cause or contribute to grain raising on most hardwoods. Either conventional solvent coatings or waterborne coatings may be used over this material.

Intended Use: For use on new wood millwork, cabinets, or wood furniture.

VISCOSITY: 56 k.u.

DRY TO TOUCH: 1-2 hours

WEIGHT SOLIDS: 17%

TACK FREE: 6 hours

VOLUME SOLIDS: 15-16%

TIME TO RECOAT: 8 hours

WEIGHT PER GALLON: 8.79 lbs. per gal.

DRY HARD: Overnight

V.O.C.: 180 grams per liter (natural base)*

COLOR RANGE: Pastels, Browns, Bolds

FLASH POINT: N/A

PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

BATCH: Stock

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 200 square feet per gallon depending on surface to be coated. * The V.O.C. will vary depending upon the individual color.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of oils, dirt, grease and waxes.

APPLICATION: Brush or wipe on liberally, working stain into wood while keeping a constant puddle or wet edge on top. Brush into overlapping areas to prevent lap marks. Wipe off evenly and thoroughly with a soft, absorbent, clean cloth while turning regularly. Remove streaks and spots by lightly buffing with cloth. Recoat with finish after 8 hours: We recommend Farwest X-6227 Aquathane Waterborne Finish for a complete, environmentally safe waterborne system.

THINNING: It is not necessary or recommended that this product be thinned prior to application.

CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be easily cleaned with warm, soapy water.
