TT-P-28G Heat Resisting Aluminum Paint

COLOR(S): Aluminum.
PRODUCT TYPE: High-Heat Silicone Aluminum Paint.
DESCRIPTION: A premium, high-heat aluminum paint which, when applied to metal surfaces, will withstand temperatures up to 1200° F. Widely used on boilers, radiators and exhaust stacks.
Intended Use: For marine use, radiators, boilers, exhaust stacks, tools, or industrial equipment.

VISCOSITY: 55 k.u. DRY TO TOUCH: 15-30 minutes
WEIGHT SOLIDS: 44-46% TACK FREE: 1-2 hours
VOLUME SOLIDS: 31-33% TIME TO RECOAT: Overnight
WEIGHT PER GALLON: 9.5 lbs. per gal. DRY HARD: 2 hours
V.O.C.: 531 grams per liter COLOR RANGE: Aluminum
FLASH POINT: 80° F. PACKAGING: 1 or 5 gallon containers

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 300-400 square feet per gallon depending on the surface.
SURFACE
PREPARATION: Surface to be painted must be free of all dirt, grease and foreign substances prior to application. New metal should be etched with Farwest #695 Rynolite Chemical Cleaner-Etcher prior to painting to insure a good tight bond of the paint film to the substrate.APPLICATION: Brush, roller, or spray.
THINNING: Thin if necessary with Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner.
CLEAN-UP: Tools and equipment may be cleaned with Farwest #605 Synthetic Thinner or Farwest #615 Wash Thinner.
