The Farwest Paint Story
Since 1925, Farwest Paint Manufacturing Company has been manufacturing quality paint products in the Pacific Northwest. Farwest Paint is a 3rd generation, family owned and operated, small business.
In 1977, Farwest purchased Matson Paint Products, which specialized in Marine Paint and Lacquer. From the purchase of Matson came our industry leading Floor Grip and the marine paint line Old Sailor.
In 1990, Jarvie Paint Company was acquired adding Industrial Primers, Specialty Coatings and Government Specification Coatings. This includes products like Astro-Galv, a VOC compliant industrial primer.
Farwest then purchased the well known, Pacific NW Brand, Daly’s Wood Finishes in 2015. Daly’s Wood Finishes has a full selection of wood finishing products. The line includes Benite, Seafin Teak Oil and the now nationally sold and distributed Daly’s A&B Wood Bleach. You can find Daly’s Wood Finishing Products in many local paint stores across the NW as well as on our online store and Amazon.
We are one of the few coatings manufacturers left on the West Coast and our small team of eleven employees have decades of experience between them giving us a unique edge in today’s market. We even manufacture and provide some well known brands with the specialty products they bring to market for their customers.
Founded 7 decades ago, Farwest has never changed our commitment to providing only the highest quality products to our customers. As we continue to evolve our goal remains the same; increase customer satisfaction and share our expertise and knowledge.
