Q: I am looking for a Material Safety Data Sheet and/or Technical info on a product. Where can I find them?
A: Many of our MSDS and Tech Data sheets are online, so you can print and access them right away. If you have an idea of what you are looking for, you can use the search engine provided on various pages of our site to help locate them. Some items may not be online at this time; if you require something that's not here, please contact us and we can FAX or E-mail them to you. Q: The MSDS and/or Tech Data page for the product I need is not on the site. Why?
A: Several of our products are numbered as per Government specifications and sometimes are listed under another number/name; if you cannot find them on the site, contact us and we will assist you. Discontinued and phased-out spec. items are also not listed on our site. For disposal and handling purposes, you can check with us to see if we have an old MSDS on file or where one can be found.
Q: I'd like to place an order. How can I do that?
Q: I'd like a priced-out copy of an invoice for an order I placed/paid for - where can I find one?
A: If you need a copy of an invoice for your records, please call or E-mail us, and we can FAX a copy, or E-mail a .pdf (Adobe format) version to you. We mail out customer copies within a week of being processed (account statements are sent out monthly), except for cash sales and orders that have been paid for, or if we have no address on file - please let us know if you would like a copy.
Q: Which stores carry your products?
A: As a small, family-owned business, we only sell our products from our Factory Retail Store in Tukwila, Washington. There are smaller independent stores who do carry some of our products - if you can't find one, let us know! We do ship around the world, so if you ever need anything, just give us a call and we'll help you figure out what you need. Running a close-knit business ensures that you will get the individual attention and quality you deserve!
Q: I have a question about using one of your products, how can you help?
A: If you have a question about application or technical information for any of our products, you may contact our Technical Support/Laboratory. If you just need basic product data and surface preparation info, we can send you an MSDS or Technical Data sheet to you for reference (or check our site for a copy, if one is available) - just give us a call or E-mail and we'll send it your way.
Q: Why don't you feature a paint color chart/palette on your site? I'd like to find my color match online! REVISED
A: Colors often look very different on a computer screen than they will in-person, so in order to be sure you're getting the paint color you really want, we recommend looking at a physical color deck or bringing in an existing color chip/sample for us to match (let us know if you'd like to check out a color deck). That way you know it will look exactly how you expected it to right out of the can.
NEW: By request, we have added an Industrial Color Chart; please note it's for reference and shouldn't be used to accurately match a color online.
Q: How did Farwest Paint get started? How long have you been in business?

Q: What types of products do you sell?
A: We manufacture and sell all types of paint products: Industrial Coatings, Government Specifications, Marine Coatings, Interior and Exterior coatings, Zone Marking Coatings, Sealers, Solvents, Deck Stains, Thinners and Waterborne Primers. In addition to the Farwest Brand, we also make Matson Marine Coatings, Jarvie Industrial Paints, and Old Sailor Copper Bottom Paint. Many of our coatings are made especially for our Northwest Climate. We also carry a full line of sundry items in our Retail Store for your painting needs. We stock all of our regular-line products year round, but we can also do special, made-to-order batches if you require them.
Q: How do I find your Retail Store? Can you tell me how to get there?
A: Check this map on Map Quest's Website to get the info you need. You can tell it where you are coming from, and it will give you detailed driving instructions. If you are already on your way and are lost though, please give us a call from your cell phone (or the nearest phone to you) and we'll walk you through.
Q: Will I get the same pricing as listed on your Sale Page if I live out-of-state (Washington)?
A: Our Sale page covers specials that are good in person through our retail store only. As shipping and packaging costs factor into orders sent out-of-state, we cannot guarantee pricing will match what is currently listed on our sale page. Please call us about pricing for your specific needs and we will offer you the best price possible.
